Installing the AvantGo software

AvantGo is a free service. You will need to sign up and download their software to take advantage of AvantGo’s application. If you already have an AvantGo account, you can click here to have MonsterZine automatically added to your list of channels.

• Go to the AvantGo web site and begin the process for downloading your handheld’s version of the AvantGo software. (Look for the “Sign Up” section of the page.)
• Follow the instructions for the web installation process.

Setting up AvantGo channels

In order to view web content on your handheld through AvantGo, you must create a channel for each Web site. These channels contain all the necessary information for updating you handheld’s content.

1. On the AvantGo web site, log into your account. A pre-set list of channels will be displayed on the right (you can edit this list at any time).
2. Click on “Create Channel”
3. Set Title Name to: MonsterZine
4. Set Location to: http://www.monsterzine.com
5. Set Maximum Channel Size to: 150K
6. Set Link Depth to: 2
7. Set Include Images to: No
8. Set Follow Off-Site Link to: No
9. Set Channel Refresh to: On Every Sync
10. Select Save Channel
11. Synchronise your handheld

When the new issue of MonsterZine is posted, your handheld will be updated as long as you continue to sync your handheld.
